How to Create an Alias or Park a Domain in cPanel

Note: The domain you want to park must point to the DNS of our server. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Domains section, click on Aliases. Under Create a New Alias. enter the domain name you want to park in the text field. Click on Add Domain. You should see a message that your domain has been parked.

How to Create an FTP Account in cPanel

You can access the FTP account using the cPanel login details, which gives you full access to the home directory. However, if you want to create an FTP user account for a specific directory, you can create a separate FTP account. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Files section, click on FTP Accounts. Under Add FTP Account, fill in the following details: Log in: Enter an FTP Username such as new-user (without space). Password: Enter your new password or use a password generator. Directory: For granting access to the entire directory of /public_html, enter public_html or change the directory path to a sub-directory such as public_html/new-user. An FTP user doesn’t have access outside the specified directory. Quota: Specify the quota in numerical words or choose unlimited. Click on Create FTP Account. You can now access your new FTP account from the FTP client. The details are given below.

How to Delete a Database in cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account. In the Databases section, click on MySQL Databases. Under Current Databases, you can see a list of all your databases. Locate the database you want to remove and click on Delete. Click on Delete Database.

How to Delete a Database in Plesk

Log in to your Plesk account. Click on Databases from the Sidebar Menu. Choose the database you want to remove from the list of databases. Proceed with Remove Database. A confirmation box will appear. Confirm with Yes. Your database will be removed.

How to Delete a WordPress Theme

You should remove unused themes. It is considered good practice to protect your WordPress website from vulnerabilities by not keeping old, unused themes. Log in to the WordPress dashboard. From the Dashboard menu, go to Appearance and click on Themes. Hover your mouse on a theme you want to remove. Click on Theme Details. Click on Delete and Confirm with OK. You can find the Delete option at the bottom right area of the window. You have successfully removed the theme.
